About Alexa Norbeck

Alexa Norbeck is a third year majoring in B.F.A. Musical Theatre and minoring in Italian. Her IU Theatre credits include Something Rotten! (Portia U/S), 1970s College Sex Comedy (Lauren), Bowling for Beginners (Sarah), and Twelfth Night (Curio & First Officer). Her most recent credit is Anne of Green Gables (Anne Shirley) with Constellation Stage & Screen. Her past productions include A Christmas Story (Esther Jane) and The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber (Ensemble) at Riverside Center for the Performing Arts, Les Misèrables (Cosette) with Christian Youth Theatre, Elf: the Musical (Emily Hobbs) and Into the Woods (Cinderella) with Stage Door Productions, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (Sally Brown) at Fredericksburg Studio of the Arts, and Anne of Green Gables (Rachel Lynde & Josie Pye), Once Upon a Mattress (Lady Rowena & the Nightingale of Samarkand), and Shrek: the Musical (Pinocchio & Rat) at Riverbend High School. Alexa is from Fredericksburg, Virginia, but has recently moved just outside Houston, Texas. Alexa is very excited to be apart of IU Theatre, and to be able to learn and grow through these productions and her time at IU. She thanks her professors, her Sigma Kappa sisters, her parents, all the production teams she has worked with at IU, and her friends for their unconditional support and love that has helped her become who she is today.
