About Casey Quinlan

Casey Quinlan is a dancer and choreographer from Avon, Connecticut. She is graduating with her B.F.A. in Contemporary Dance in May 2025. She spent the majority of her adolescence dancing competitively at Connecticut Dance Academy. After graduating high school in 2021, she began receiving a higher education at Marymount Manhattan College studying dance. After two years of training in NYC, she transferred to Indiana University’s Contemporary Dance Program. She performed works by Camille A. Brown, Beatrice Capote, Selene Carter, DaEun Jung, and Iris Rosa in the IU productions entitled Reconstructed/Reframed and Cultural Immersions. Casey has performed in five different student works at IU, and choreographed for Junior Choreographic Performance Project, Student-Led Independent Projects, and is currently choreographing her Senior Capstone for the Echoes production. 

Outside of university, Casey performed with dance company Garet&Co at Fall for Dance in Metuchen, NJ, as well as in NYC for Young Choreographer’s Festival. Casey has also participated in Boston Conservatory’s Summer Dance Intensive, Broadway Dance Center’s Musical Theater Dance Intensive, The Storytellers Intensive with Marinda Davis, and Dance Italia in Lucca, Italy. 

Other than performing and choreographing, Casey also has a passion for singing and teaching. She has taught at Connecticut Dance Academy, as a guest teacher for Garet&Co, and at The Dance Slipper. She also studied voice for a total of 8 years. Casey is a versatile artist who is dedicated to her craft and excited to spend her life doing what she loves the most.
