Aaron Ricciardi is a New York City-based actor, playwright, lyricist, and essayist, originally from Coral Springs, Florida, who is the 3rd-year writer in IU’s MFA Playwriting program.
Aaron recently became a National Finalist for the Gary Garrison National Ten-Minute Play Award for Him & Her & Gay Men in General.

Aaron's play with songs The Travels (music by Kelly Hoppenjans) was produced as part of the 2014 New York Musical Festival. As an actor, Aaron has worked with TheatreworksUSA, Ugly Rhino, and Musicals Tonight, among others, and he has studied with Steven Lutvak, Craig Carnelia, Randy Graff, and Philippe Gaulier.
Aaron is a member of the BMI Musical Theatre Advanced Workshop, and his writing has appeared in The Huffington Post. Aaron graduated from the Theatre program at Northwestern University, where he studied playwriting under Laura Schellhardt.
