About Eirene Stavropoulos

Eirene Stavropoulos is a multidisciplinary artist based in the Midwest. She is currently majoring in voice performance at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University with a theatre minor. Eirene was the 1st place winner of the 2022 Oscar Hammerstein Museum & Theatre Education Center International Youth Solo Contest. IU credits include Banquo/Lady Macduff in Macbeth, Amy and Mack in the world premieres of Nice Jewish Boy and I Love My Friends respectively. Other credits include The Sound of Music (Maria), Joseph...Dreamcoat (Narrator), Trail to Oregon (Daughter) and Wizard of Oz (Glinda). Onscreen, she will appear in a short horror film produced by The Raft Genre, to be released in 2023. Eirene also sings with the acclaimed NOTUS contemporary vocal ensemble. Eirene is currently working with the Oscar Hammerstein Museum and Theatre Education Center to implement a collaborative arts organization at IU and other colleges across the nation. Eirene hopes to use all her skills to pursue art in a variety of mediums to better serve the wide spectrum of art.
