About Jacob Jackson

Jacob Jackson is a Sophomore pursuing a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. He was most recently seen “offstage” as the male swing for The Threepenny Opera. For IUST: Closer Than Ever (Man). For University Players: Bright Star: Concert Version (Billy Cane), Metamorphosis (Multiple Roles). Other notable shows: Forever Plaid (Sparky), Something Rotten! (Tom/Dance Captain), Zombie Prom (Jonny Warner), Wizard of Oz (Tinman), Grease (Kenickie). Jacob is excited to be entering his first year as the resident Music Director on the University Players Board of Directors. After being the Assistant Music Director for Murder Ballad last year, he will be Music Directing Footloose later this summer which will be his first “official” opportunity as the head Music Director at IU. Jacob has a passion for all sports but specially soccer which he has played his whole life. He has loved his time at Indiana University so far and is very excited for what’s ahead in his upcoming years. Jacob is from Overland Park, Kansas.
