About Maggie Jackson

Maggie Jackson (she/her) is from Carlisle, Pa. She is a third-year, MFA candidate in Scenic Design at Indiana University (IU). Her previous design credits for IU include Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812 and Bowling for Beginners (Recipient of Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Excellence in Design). For the University, she has worked as a Scenic Charge Artist (Gross Indecency, The Threepenny Opera, The Winter’s Tale) and Prop Manager (Bowling for Beginners, Uncle Play, Something Rotten). Prior to Indiana, Maggie obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Technical Theatre Design and Musical Theatre Performance from East Stroudsburg University (ESU- East Stroudsburg, PA). This past summer Maggie was the Scenic Charge Artist for the Hangar Theatre Company in Ithaca, New York. This summer she is thrilled to join Summer Stock Stage as the Set Designer for Tuck Everlasting.
