About Baylee McAllister

Baylee McAllister is a junior working toward her B.F.A in Contemporary Dance and minor in Arts Management. Baylee has performed in works such as Framing Figures (2020), Solo Spotlight Series (2021), Earthward (2021), New Moves (2021-2022), and SLIP (2022) at Indiana University. She has been broadening her dance studies in Contemporary, Ballet, Horton, Graham, Tap, House, Afro Cuban, Modern, and many others. Baylee is a Hoosier, born and raised in Fishers, Indiana where she trained in dance techniques such as Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Modern since she was 11 years old at Dance Creations Academy. She holds an academic honors diploma from Fishers High School and graduated summa cum laude in 2020. She has had the opportunity to dance during her summers at Boston Ballet Summer Intensive, take Indianapolis City Ballet master classes, work and teach at her home studio, and help with dance camps in her community. She is a current member of Chi Omega, Theta Beta chapter at Indiana University where she does philanthropic work with the Make A Wish Foundation. Baylee's dream is to one day own her own studio where she can teach and inspire a new generation of dancers and help be a positive change in the dance community . She cannot wait to continue her dance education at Indiana University and beyond.
